Once you have put together your natural cleaner base recipe the only addition you will need to make is choosing what Essential Oils you want to add. How you decide this will depend on what the cleaner is for, as each Essential Oil has different qualities.

Kitchen

Any citrus oil combination works really well, especially in the kitchen, as citrus cuts through grease and has a fresh, clean scent.This natural cleaner base recipe can be transformed into almost any type of cleaner you need.

35 drops = 1/2 teaspoon

Bathroom

In this recipe the Clove and Tea Tree Oil will fight germs and mould.

15 drops = 1/4 teaspoon

Please note:

Always handle essential oils with care.

Although Essential oils are natural, they are potent (that’s what gives them their power). If they do come in contact with your skin and cause irritation then rub a “carrier oil” on to the affected area to dilute it. (This can be any oil such as coconut, almond, avocado or olive oil).

Some oils should be avoided during pregnancy and around small children.
