What is Earthing?
How often do the naked souls of your feet actually touch the bare earth? Can you even remember?
Don’t worry I am not about to go all ‘woo woo’ on you!
Simply put, when the bare souls of our feet come in contact with the earth we receive a natural energy into our body in the form of electrons that have a negative charge. This is known as Earthing.
Just like the sun gives us Vitamin D, the Earth gives us Vitamin G.
I know at first it seems a bit ‘out there’ but think about it… Humans are part of nature, we were never meant to wear shoes, at least not ones made of plastic and rubber.
Most of us have walked along the beach, maybe in the surf. Doesn’t it give you a sense of calm? Of being connected to nature?
Think about how already the earth creates new life in plants, completely natural.
Why Should You Be Doing It?
There are so many benefits to Earthing and those benefits are there for everyone!
According to Barefoot Healing, “When we connect to the Earth with our bare skin our body becomes infused with negatively charged electrons which means we neutralise the excess positively charged free radicals. This prevents damage to the normal tissue and that shuts down the immune response and returns our body to normal so that healing can occur.”

Everyone is different and can expect to see results in different time frames.

How Do You Earth?
Absolutely anyone can do a little (or a lot) of Earthing. It is so simple and easy that really there is no excuse not to do it!
Just get yourself outside, kick off your shoes and reap the benefits.
Try and aim for at least half an hour a day. If you don’t have a spare half an hour then have a think about what you have planned for the day and see if you can do that while sitting outside and Earthing.

Ok, so if you can’t get outside each day then just bring the outside inside!
